With a lot of help from the wife I have now scanned in the in house history of the Mills Equipment Co by A A Lethern (MD of the Co)
"The Development of the Mills Woven Cartridge Belt 1877-1956" 70 pages, illustrated
and
"Mills Woven Military Equipments" which is a pre-WWI American catalogue, 30 pages.
I also rediscovered a set of 22 images I got from the Pattern Room of a even earlier Mills catalogue, glossy photos glued into a rather superior faux crocodile album from the 1900s I guess. I took digi pics of each page and apart from the odd bit of glare and the borders not being true (due to having to take the pics at a slight angle to avoid the before mentioned glare) they came out rather well.
Anybody who wants them, please get in touch.

Hi Tom (I really hope the message above is still valid, 8 years later) I'm a historian in Wellington, NZ, writing the biography of a NZ nurse named Dorothy Morris. In 1941-43 she worked as the welfare and personnel supervisor for two M. E. Co. factories in the UK - one of 800 and the other of 600 staff. I'm keen to learn more about this company and the work of those factories. If you could send me their in-house history for the WW2 period, I'd be extremely grateful. If you need and more information about either me or this biographical project, just let me know.
Regards, Mark Derby Wellington, NZ
