No WorriesI'll take some pics of the sight, barrel markings and the unmarked mag catch block which are the bits they replaced with new when they FTRed it. I'll see if any other bits are theirs.
They used a new Mk I butt slide as well as I suppose new Mk IIIs would have been pretty scarce by the early 80s. Still a interesting piece.
By the by any thoughts on those items I enquired about? I'll also have to pick your brains about whats the most correct of the gas chambers to keep for the Mk 3 and A4, I must have 5 of 6 different ones!

Tom, I know you are probably frantically trying to sort out everything, but if you get 5 minutes, I would like to know a bit more info about the No5. markings etc thanks Peter.

Hi Peter unfortunately I've just wrapped up the No. 5 for transit but I'm sure the nice chap getting it will be able to sort you out.
I do remember that theres one more digit (hang on it will be on the de-ac cert,) G26482 than should be on a factory made No. 5 (unless I've read it wrong in the ref's) so the body started off as a No. 4s somewhere. Either way its been beautifully done.
