Hi, 5 of those leather boxes were sold recently in Belgium. They have been used for years by the employees of a small electricity company as toolboxes. They look "Vickers stuff" to me. The toolbox is as big as the wooden one. Anyone an idea? They are marked: W^D, and ....mbes Maker 1937, S'Hampstead.

I believe these are vehicle tool boxes rather than Vickers related.

Absolutely 100% tool boxes for vehicles. One dealer currently mis-advertising in UK as MG tool box. Used up to 1970 in British Army...as MT tool boxes. Mark
