Mmm, interesting! I think the Vickers looks good enough without having to do that to it! Also, there's enough to polish on one without adding more.
With regards to that gun in particular, it's an Australian Vickers that was produced as a Mk. XXI and then converted to a Mk. I for infantry use. There's not many about so that's ruined one which has its own place in a collection somewhere (but not now!)
Also, £16.5k!!!!!

Gosh,
Even in Los Angeles we don't chrome them. Paris Hilton would just love it though. :-)
