did you start with a pistol grip, like in the second picture to make the wooden stock

Hi Joe
The wooden stock and the tank pistol grip both use the same trigger guard to attach to. I had a spare trigger guard so now I can switch my gun quickly from one model to the other if I want. I made the stock assembly from an original drawing from the Pattern Room library. The stock making was relatively straight-forward but there was a lot of work in the butt plate and shoulder rest. I can email a scan of the drawing if you want to make a stock.
