Is the L4A1 spring the same as the .303 mag spring?

Not sure about tensile strength of spring but width ,length and number of coils are the same (without taking a set of calipers to them).The L4 mag has a hole in the top spring for the retainer which the 303 spring doesn't.
......so the answer is no they aren't the same ;D
