I have done a huge amount of work on these pages (and there is still a fair amount to do) but the most difficult piece was the clickable map of the globe which is quite good, if I do say so myself.
I am now looking for any Vickers kit from around the world so if anybody has any that they would like to sell or trade, please let me know.
Regards
Richard

Hi Peter,
I'll get there eventually. Surprisingly, there are quite a few. I've most of the cap badges myself so will, as you've specifically requested it, start to put a page together. If there's anything missing, I'm sure people will let me know.
Cheers,
Rich

These badges are the NZ MG cap and collar which are common enough. The lower badge is the scarce NZ MG Specialists from WW1 and it features a Maxim rather than the Vickers.

That's quite nice Rod. I remember that a few years ago, they were on eBay a couple of times. I never got around to picking one up. How were they worn? Do you know?

Hi Captain,
That looks like a standard Machine Gun Corps cap badge without any fixes and the British crown taken off. It might have been acquired when the Portuguese fought alongside the British and then adapted as a local MG badge - possibly used as a qualification badge?

Hi Rich. I have never seen a cap badge, just collars. My one is a 'sweetheart' badge in sterling silver with a gold gun.

Thanks Rod. I have wondered if they were 'generic' specialists badges as they have the signallers flags as well? Rich
