I have the Canadian PVS-502. It is my understanding that the scope will fit the L42 bracket.  |

The armourer who I get IWS sight brackets for the GPMG,Carl G etc would also be very interested if you come across any ! Although extremely rare items there must be some out there somewhere ? ! Hope you manage to aquire one  |

Which GPMG are you finding brackets for; the M1919 or the FN MAG? I regularily fire my M1919, but the Canadian night vision adapet bracket for that particular gun is clumsy. I wouldn't mind finding something a bit more refined.

Not directly, but one of the outhors on that forum refers to a Canadian forum, which is where I borrowed the photo link for the L42 bracket. The thread on the Cdn forum was actually about the FNC1 rifles, and migrated over to the night vision optics. That is what reminded me that I wanted one of these brackets, so I could adapt my PVS-502 scope, which was normally used on the FN C1A1 over to one of my 4T snipers.
I have to wonder, were the brackets removed officially from the L42 chests on sale of the rifles?
I wouldn't mind seeing a photo of the GPMG bracket if you have one.
