Finally got out to shoot the ZB26. Terrible day but that was not going to stop me. It ran 100% with no malfunctions. The buffer did it's trick and protected the trigger guard. It looked like a good day was had by all! I am not so sure about the spade grips on the M16 though. My ZB26 runs very well, even on crappy 1940's Chinese ammo that will not function a Maxim or an MG34 (I now have a case of good 1980's ammo for these!). ;D Nice One!

the finish on the ZB was beautiful. what was it, it looked blued? was it original?

Yes it is blued but it was reblued when the gun was rewatted.
