Ok Folks could you give me some idea of the sorts of prices I should be getting for the following in the UK at present? 3rd stage Mk I double dovetail Bren dated 1940 as used to illustrate the type at www.lightmachinegun.org.uk(also have a minty 1939 dated rifle sling with 2 Bren clips as is correct) Mk I/m Inglis Upgraded at Lithgow to Mk II standard as used to illustrate the type as above Minty from FTR at Interarms L4A3 Mk II Daimler Bren, (currently in bits waiting for me to fit a complete set of brand new wood.) L2A1 LMG, good condition, may not sell as it sort of still fits in with the collection but would like to know going price for insurance peposes. proper long barreled version not PNG sort. tombear@btopenworld.com Cheers! Hi Warren nah I just want a bit of advice so I can put reasonable prices rather than mess about putting things on auction sites and letting the rabble get in on the act ;-{D)
Oh I forgot to add the Hotchkiss Portative Mk I* to the list, anybody see one of those for sale in the UK recently?
Warren, was it you who wanted the Whitworth screw thread feeler guage/feeler thingy? I finally came across a second one a couple of weeks back, a Moore and Wright for £4.

Well, I can't find a single clue as to whats the normal going rate for a Portative, surely they can't be that rare?
What about a kosher L4A3? It's a minter FTRed by Interarms in the 80s (barrel and mag catch block are by them) for the TA . I know the navy used them but I've a L4A4 so don't really need a A3.
Shame Glass' don't do a price guide!
