I am looking for a good brass azimuth ring and bracket for a WWII vintage Vickers tripod. Mine was badly damaged in shipment, dial says J.30 M.T.303 MK IV DIAL.DIRN MKII. All help appreciated. I live in USA. Regards, Albert

Advanced Guard Militaria had an original British Mark II pattern listed in a recent catalog and I don't think it sold. They don't have it on their current on-line listing so you'd need to call them and ask about it to see if it is still available or not. They are in the USA and can be reached at 800-233-1918.
Probably not many other options as you don't tend to see many parts available for tripods unless someone is breaking one up for some reason.

Just finished browsing AGM's newest on-line catalog and found that they are advertising another one. The catalog went live at 3pm central time today so if you want it, you better jump on it while its available. They have a photo of it and this is the description: E527 - British WWI Vickers Tripod Dial WWI and WWII Vickers Machine Gun Traversing Dial Mark II, the pattern adopted for use on British tripods beginning in 1917. Made of brass and stamped "M.T. .303 MK IV. DIAL DIRN MK II." and hallmarked with a crown/13/S stamp. Original screws for attaching to tripod present. For reference, see Dolf Goldsmith's "Grand Old Lady of No Man's Land" Page 464 Link below is their main page: www.advanceguardmilitaria.com

Hi David, Kept on looking at the site and as soon as I stop, they post one. Thank you very much for finding it and letting me know, I went and bought it last night and it ships tomorrow.
Let me know if I can return the favor sometime.
Regards, Albert
