Bren A-A Tripod set-up

I want to display a Bren on its tripod in the 'Anti-Aircraft' mode. I have seen photos of such set ups where the butt of the gun is propped up by a bracket/rod, so that the gun is not just hanging vertically.....would this be a bona fide accessory or just someones invention for a display?

Kev, Frustratingly I cannont now locate the images I referred to, despite spending the last hour on the internet. One was a wartime image of Brens set up on the deck of a troop ship, the other was a contemporary photo taken of a club display, I think from NZ. In any event during the last hour on the net I think I must have found 100+ Bren a-a set up images, none of which show what i was trying to describe..think I will leave this one in the 'too hard basket', unless someone can bail me out! The picture of the NZ Bren display would have been my display a couple of months ago. I made a steel strap with a hole in each end which went between the butt mounting pin and the tripod head to hold the gun at a 'jaunty' angle for AA display. A nut and bolt is required to secure the strap to the swiveling tripod head. Simple to make and no modification s required to any part.

Scroll down on the first page and you will find the photo. If you zoom it up you will see the steel strap in place. I just used a piece of 1-1/2" x 1/8" flat that was lying around. It will need to shaped to fit at each end once you have drilled the holes.
