Just on the of chance, Admin/mods remove this if it doesn't fit with forum ethos.
I have a set of K Pettigrew Ltd (Glasgow) Highland bagpipes with half silver mounts in very good condition.. I spent a day watching Kenny Pettigrew make these for me in 1998. African Blackwood, Imitation Ivory projecting mounts. No Warps or cracks. These are not cheap ebay Pakistani pipes. Hallmarked Sterling Silver Ringcaps, Ferrules, Tuning pins, all done by Master Craftsman, Henry Murdo of Dunfion Bagpipes, Isle of Arran. No dents or heavy gouges in the silver. Large Synthetic Canmore pipe bag, Ezeedrone Drone Reeds, Freeflow valve, Warmack Chanter. Now they have a small chip in one projecting mount. This is hardly noticeable, also the bottom of the base drone could do with re-polishing but nothing major, and are ready to play. I have played these for 11 years in solos and in a band and they have superb tonal qualities. Buyer, You wont be disappointed. I have been insuring them every year for £1800, I'm Looking for £995. This is half of what they are worth. email me or call John on 07933087100 Photos on request.
