Items wanted, cash paid, for my 1918 Vickers.

Original WW1 tabbed ammo belt.
Original metal or wood ammo box.

Location: Southampton.

Tony, the early belts do turn up from time to time but as Missingsomething said, they can get a bit pricey. The No 8 Mk I steel ammo box was used in the latter stages of WW1 and they are still around. The earlier marks of steel boxes and the even earlier wooden belt boxes are rare and seldom, if ever, come onto the market. When these do change hands it is usually straight from one collector to another.
