It looks like a Enfield Mk1m lower but it could easily be Inglis. Its hard to tell without seeing it or looking for marks. All 3 manufacturers produced the earlier highly machined lowers (Lithgows were slighlty diffrent to Inglis and Enfield) but changed to the simplified lower about the same time as the last of the Intermediate guns (again Lithgow were later than the rest).

I've got round to having another look at it:
I still can't find any obvious maker marks on the slide itself, but it's been stamped 'LN' over '63904' inside the front end at some point. The outside of the rear end appears to have been scrubbed and re-blued as well.
Also the ejection port cover and the front mounting pin are Inglis marked, although obviously they could have been added at any time.
Overall I'm inclined to believe it's an Inglis slide, but I would be grateful for any further input.

Hi Mark,it looks to be an Inglis batch number,you may find more markings if you take off the butt.Markings can be found in the butt socket on the butt slide that might yield more info.
