Due to difficulties exporting the deac the Interarms FTRed minty L4A3 is back on the market at a bargain £625 until this Sunday when the price reverts to £750.
I am reliably informed that 750 is the curent cost price for one so no doubt the final sale price is a lot more. We have all seen the prices they have been advertised for.
I'd prefer a cash face to face sale otherwise postage will be about £25.
I will post pictures when I get home. Sale will be within UK only.

When you consider D and B militaria are trying to 'pass off' an Indian L4 as a UK L4A1 for £795 your genuine L4 is a bargain Tom.
Some of the crap these 'expert' dealers come out with when selling goods is beyond comprehension.
"British Army 7.62 conversion of an Enfield Mk III 1944 .303 Bren Gun converted in 1965 and deactivated with full working action, cocks and dry fires and is fully strippable. The gun comes with carrying handle and adjustable bi pod in very good condition with original L4A1 magazine, this Gun would have been in service right up to the late 80's and was possibly used in the Falklands war.
If they were selling cars with such false descriptions they would be locked up !

Out of interest, what are the giveaways that it's an Indian and not British L4? One of the funniest dodgy descriptions I've seen recently were for some US deact Lanchester SMG's on the 'International Military Antiques' website: they had some Arabic markings (almost certainly postwar Egyptian) which IMA claimed meant they were 'WWII British Arab Legion issue - possibly used at El Alamein...' Funnily enough my polite email to them pointing out that their description was a teensy-weensy bit improbable didn't get a reply. ;D Mark PS. Whilst I'm on the subject, did any UK members spot the dealer at Beltring last year who had a box of 'unconverted' MkI Bren magazines? He seemed to think that having a MkI top plate meant the magazine was unconverted...

Out of interest, what are the giveaways that it's an Indian and not British L4? Strangely it has now been removed from their site ;D Anyhow I have pictures of it showing the Indian Ishapore 'IMG 15GA' marking on the body. The barrel is also well marked with Indian SAF markings as are numerous other parts on the gun. Also Indian 7.62 Brens do not have any L4 designation markings of any kind marked on them , so where they got the 'L4A1' description is a mystery ! ATB Kevin

Ok, not a good time to sell a LMG, just after Christmas.
I will now be putting it in GunMart and alike for £750, which is still a fair price.
With payday looming I will let it go to one of you guys for 650 + real postage as a last chance offer up until the 1st of Feb.
