there are 2 NATO numbers on it
one is the short one: 90-911-1531
and an extended one. 0120-90-911-1531
i have tried to find out something about this number, but so far unsucsesfull.

i picked another box from the mate who i got the tripod box from. the original markings were hidden below a layer of nato paint.   |

The only NSNs I've seen that have the same unusual arrangement of numbers is 0120-90-911-1479, which is "related to Box, Spare Parts 1005-66-139-3563", and 0120-90-911-1477 which is "related to Barrel Assembly, MG 1005-66-139-3562".
Other than them both being related to Australian NSNs, trying to identify any of them further leads to a dead end though.
