Still hunting good condition 100 rd and 250 rd ammo belts - but does anyone know anything about WWI period MG08 or MG08/15 feedblock adaptions/conversions - either for blank, dummy wooden rounds or metal disintergrating belts - has to be WWI period though. VMT Mark

Very hard to find anything on that, I know I've never seen anything on it at all. Have you lucked into any German belts? Most of the ones I run into are in poor shape due to time...

Not WWI, but I have an MG08 fedblock with the switch for use with MG34/42 belts......I've never seen or heard of a WWI "conversion" MG08 or 08/15 feedblock for any other types of belts. Is there some documentation conerning such a beast?
