Hi,
I'm after a replacement Cocking Handle Slide Cover for my 1940 MkI and I've found one for sale that I'm told is marked 'CB'. Does anyone know what manufacturer this is?

Is your old one broken? I think most of my early Brens have the BSA piled arms logo on all the Butt components (As BSA were the sub contactor for butts, Hardware and Bipods on the early guns). Or are you trying to replace JI marked items?
p.s. I dont know who CB are, I'll have a look.

Not broken - merely in scruffy condition and prominently JI marked. Ideally I'm after a BSA marked example.

Thanks. Is it likely to be a Monotype Scheme part, or did RSAF Enfield use parts from subcontractors? (other than BSA)
