Handle for under the butt of a mk.1

I have just picked up what is supposed to be an original handle that attaches under the butt of a mk.1 bren. The seller said that even repro ones go for £100, but this was the real deal. All and any help would be much appreciated as I am new to the world of bren guns.

Looks to be similar in finish to other BSA butt grip handles,have you unscrewed the nut to seperate it from the body ?
