I've got an '18 dated brass tab Vickers belt, broad arrow proofed, that I have used for years with my German MG08, and I just loaded again for an MG shoot in a few weeks. I noticed that the makers mark is NMM over B. It's a brass tabbed, 250 round belt, in very good condition, well used but in good shape. Anyone know who NMM over B would have been? Any ideas as to value? Im not a collector of British stuff, and I don't have a Vickers, so it's going to carry ammo to my 1918 MG08 again, but I thought someone here might know who made it!

Can't help on the maker, but an identically marked example is illustrated on page 475 of Goldsmith's "Grand Old Lady".

Didn't know that, but the last copy of the "Grand old lady" I saw for sale, they wanted an obscene price for. I'll try to look in one if I find another!
