I have just obtained one of these unusual guns in excellent condition with all accessories. Can anyone give me a contact to obtain a handbook or other official Swiss literature for this gun?

Well done Rod - that really is an unusual addition to any collection - even yours
Nothing in that line in SA but I have previously had some success using various Military Attaches who are obviously well connected in their own militaries. If you don't have a Swiss embassy in Aus I will be happy to approach ours and see what gives.

Yep, that the one Kevin. I won't get my hands on it for a week yet as I bought it by postal bid.

My new toy arrived today! ;D It is in excellent condition and complete with a large range of accessories, and the serial number would indicate manufacture about 1927. It is an exquisite example of Swiss precision engineering. The design is nothing more than an overgrown Luger with the toggle breaking to the left side. The firing pin system is identical as can be seen from the photo, and the barrel extension incorporates the sear just like the pistol.

Is ammo going to be much of a problem Rod ?

Ammo is no problem Kevin. I have a Schmidt Rubin rifle in the same calibre and some issue ammo for it (quite a snotty load when compared to Hornady commercial ammo!).

Cheers Peter. I may try them here but I am waiting for a reply from a Swiss dealer who may be able to help. There was a handbook on Ebay a few days ago but they wanted a starting bid of US$99!
