We had the Mainland Arms and Militaria Show here yesterday and this was my display of production Stens and other SMG's that were influential in some way to the Sten development.

Very impressive display! I hope people appreciated the effort you went to in setting it all up for them to see if attending the show.

Thanks David. The show was welll attended and the press arrived and took a few photos and gave the show a good write-up in this morning's paper. I had quite a few old soldiers come and recount their various experiences with the Sten and it would be fair to say they were not a popular gun! Jamming and insufficent stopping power being the most numerous complaints. The display won joint first place with a magnificent display of NZ Army 'lemon squeezers' as judged by the show organisers (the $100 has gone into my collection account!)

Thanks Banksy! My Sten collection covers the basic models but I still need a Mk IIS and a Mk 6 to cover the suppressed models. It has taken about 28 years to gather the current selection. Opportunity and financial ability have to coincide!
