Before y’all start calling me nasty names, this was done with >>NO<< modification, alteration, revision, change, drilling, milling, etc of >>ANY<< original parts whatsoever! I made an aluminum mount that slides onto the existing rear sight dovetail on the body cover, and then mounted an AR-15 accessory rail on top. All I have to do is remove the Tangent Sight Bed Spring Screw and tap the entire original rear sight assembly off to the rear. Slide the adaptor on the body cover and gently tap it in place. I can then mount the Eotech or any other sight I wish. I have it bore sighted, but it’ll be another month or so before we can reopen our MG range. I might try it out single shot this weekend. If the aluminum doesn’t hold up, and the concept proves sound, I can always make another one out of steel. I’m sure Der Kaiser will file an official complaint. Doug

Seems sound idea. I seen Brens fitted with modern sights so no reason for the Lewis not to be.
