Gentlemen:
Does any one have a set of these? I am going to make up a set and need to know what the rods are made out of. I know they are both 9" and 18" long but not how square they are.
With that dimension I can make the Collar for the Gun Peg.
Thanks,
Chuckm

I have an original 18" and some reproduction 9" ones (kindly made for me as somebody was doing the same project as you).
I will measure the cross-section for you when I am with the collection next (unless somebody else on here gets to it first).
Regards
Richard

I have some general questions regarding Night line Pegs. When did they come into use ? How are they used in practice ?
Thanks very much.

How they are used is described in the various manuals - simplistically, they are used to mark the gun positions as part of a reconnaissance, so that they can be occupied at night.
