2Pdr Pom-Pom cases and links - Sorted

I have fairly recently acquired a Belt filling Machine for the Naval 2Pdr of WW2 vintage in it's transit chest - a large brute ;D

To enhance this item, I require a few cases (will get the projectiles replicated locally) and a similar number of links.

I know that the cases and links were "deep-sixed" down a chute at sea so this may be a more difficult quest than it seems.

Any help appreciated.

Hi Peter, I may have a couple of spare links available in a week or so's time, they are presently in transit to me.....I shall keep you posted.

Many thanks - am despairing on this side of the pond. Our Navy obviously used them as well but I have not been able to trace anything through a good SAN connecton.

Looking forward to hearing more.
