Dear All,
Just wondering if anyone had come across one of these? Was down in London the other day and saw one for sale in Target Arms - far too dear for me, but after the recent discussion of the sangster tripod, thought I might bring it to the attention of the forum.

Hi Richard,
I have been in discussion with Target Arms about this and they want £1200 for it which I think would be fine if it could be guaranteed genuine. However, I have only seen photos and at this time I cannot make a trip to visit and check it over myself. One of the problems I have is that I think it would have a few markings on it but from the photos, and an inspection by them, it does not seem to.
Very nice item if it proved to be genuine though!

Richard,
I managed to visually inspect it, had no markings I could see. As a relative newcomer to this area of WW1 militaria, I really cannot pass judgement on this particular item. If you like, I am happy to discuss this further by e-mail.
