Hi Guys
I have just started to repaint a Bren Chest, its marked up as a MK1 but looking at pictures of early Bren Chests they dont have the wooden runners down the outside, mine has, does anyone know when they came into service? I am wanting to restore the box to house my 1940 DD Bren so aiming for a 1940 looking Chest,
