I have a sandblasted (I didn't do it!) Vickers (SN A9646 with RFI stamps) water jacket (casing) that is tinned on the outside similar to the inside. I don't know how the jacket could ever have had bluing. It seems to have been painted as usual. The end caps have evicence of a nice dark blue-like finish. Is this tinned jacket something special for the tropical areas? Thoughts or comments?
