I have done a lot of research on the Hotchkiss over the years and it would appear that the French were the only users of the Hotchkiss in aircraft. This use was very short as the guns were very difficult to use in the air.

Seems not.
Looking at Harry Woodman's Early Aircraft Armament, it seems the French did but not the RFC.
Flying Guns of World War 1 (Anthony G. Williams & Dr Emmanuel Gustin) agrees.
Hope that helps.
