Yes i am interested in one, and may purchase one soon, as they will be at Birmingham on the 12th of the month and this would save me postage. I have seen both wooden and plastic dummy barels at shows for between £50 to £60 so i suppose £69 pounds for a genuine MK2 deact when considering the cost of live barrels in the USA and that most companies in the UK would charge you £80 plus to deact with certificate. I think ive talked my self into one just need to decide MK1* or MK2. Will post pics if I buy.

All now gone if you do not follow other forums.
If it was not a one off getting them through the Proof House presumably others will follow.

It would appear its not a one off, I got a email from Adam and he said that the proof house had begun to let barrels through a few weeks back. I just hope no one spoils this common sence approach.

Yes. Although I don't physically have my one yet and can't tell you what's on the certificate.
Thanks for the pictures boristhepig - it's not as hacked about as I'd feared.

Hi Yes it does come with its own Dect Cert with type and make as : Light Machine Gun Barrel Mk1 Enfield Having had more time to look at the barrel It has been done more sympathetically than I thought it may have been done. Also from the earliest number on the barrel D1597 it would also make it a fairly early one. So I am all-round happy
