Hi, I'm building a 1/6th scale Vickers (below) and am trying to find the measurements of a typical WW2 British 250 round belt ammo box such as the "Box, Ammunition, Small Arms, H.51" Can anyone help me please? Thanks.

Can I just say how completely underwhelmed I've been by the response to my request for help?
Thanks a lot.

I would help you out but I don't have a box to take measurements of.

My apologies, I must have missed this post when it was first put up. I have the relevant box and the measurements are as follows:
(Looking square on from the front)
Height = 2250mm Width = 4050mm Depth = 1150mm
Once again, sorry for not responding earlier.
Richard

You do realize you've got the gun turned the wrong way round on the tripod...... long leg goes in the rear....

Humm... mine is: Height = 22cm Width = 12cm Length = 41cm Same measurements, different dimensions - difficult to explain without the picture but I meant looking straight on in the same way the picture shows it.
