A Vickers Machine Gun Mk I serial number 8.... manufactured in 1944 at Lithgow. The mounted on its Tripod .303-in. M.G. Mk. IV. & manufactured in 1942 by Randwick Tramways.
The Gun is complete with a canvas water jacket cover, (Repro)water can and No 10 MK 1 Ammunition tin containing a cloth ammunition belt and deactivated .303 rounds.
The Gun and Tripod are stored in their correct carrying chests.
The gun was deactivated in 1998 and is in excellent condition, it can be cocked, dry fired and field stripped.
