Hi I would like a range finder to go with my WW2 Vickers gun, but just like some input on which model’s and price to pay. There seems to be some variation on model and base size 1m and .80m I have seen a few on the auction sites that are No2 MKVII FT37 but they seem to go from £60-£200 and look pretty much the same to me with my limited knowledge. And would just like some pointers
Thanks Terry

Hi Terry,
The correct infantry rangefinder is an 80cm base. The 1m ones are Artillery to give greater range. They are called the No. 12 rangefinder. If you download the manuals on the VMG website, they will show the correct models for the period. I think I have a few photos of mine on there as well. Prices vary MASSIVELY depending on the seller and not much else.
Regards
Richard
