Hi, Had what I believed to be a N°7 Vickers ammo box (the green one). Recently I found a similar box (the blue one) modified by a engineer as a tool box. The green has no markings, the blue is marked :N°7 B&C ltd 1917. But some differences: the green lid is smaller, the sides of both lids have different shapes, .... Is this the same model from different factories? Or is there a Mk I , a Mk II, ...? Can somebody help? Cheers, Luc

Looking at those, I would say the green one is an early No. 8 rather than a No. 7 (before it had the top strap removed).
A No. 7 is all I am missing in my collection so if you find another, let me know!
Thanks,
Richard
