100th Anniversary

This year is now the 100th anniversary of the adoption of the Vickers Machine Gun by the British Army. Few other weapons have had the legacy that the Vickers has. It's my intention to us this year to highlight the use of the Vickers and, more importantly, those soldiers, sailors and airmen from around the world that used it in action.

I'll be using this page and the Facebook group to promote anything that I can organise to promote the event in the lead up to 26th November, 2012.

Does anyone have any ideas how the 100th anniversary could be commemorated?

It would be great to see 100 different Vickers guns in one place but I'm not sure that's achievable!
