Desperate for a lock spring. I need a spring for the 08 or 08/15 lock. I have some 1910 Russian but the front leg is about 3/16 too short, so willing to trade a 1910 for an 08 spring or  HELP!!!!! |

Any idea whether the spring out of a Swiss Maxim lock will fit? I might have one of those.

Russian spring, unfortunately, will not fit the 08 Maxim lock. The front leg is too short to catch the firing pin. The Russian spring will however fit the Vickers lock.

Looks like I have a 1909 DWM Commercial lock. Would you like me to measure that spring if I can get it apart!
