Can't get to my references folks o can someone tell me when they were withdrawn please? Just seen the pic of a SAS land rover circa 1960/61 fitted with a couple of them.
Incidentally folks they roofers are finally finishing off today. The elm guttering and cast iron down pipes are going back up on Thursday I'm told and then it's just the pointing to finish when it warms up and the lime mortar can go in. The main thing a we can now move back into the top floor now and a normal service will resume! My apologies to those who's been wifting on me sorting stuff for them.

I've seen the same photo probably. Certainly a Land Rover with twin GO guns. I live they were declared obsolete in 1947 but will check.

Tom, I was just looking through some of your CD's for an unrelated drawing and found a GO drawing stamped 'Osolete for Land Forces' & 'RSAF Enfield 5 April 1946'.

Cheers! Id thought it was early post war.
Things getting back to normal here as they have finished the major works, just the pointing to mortar when they can get some frost or rain free days to do it.
