This is a de-milled Bren kit I've re-welded and turned into a functioning semi-automatic. It shoots the .303 cartridge and functions very well. One of the easier kits to build when it comes to welding, just be sure and use a good welding jig. Before and after pictures. CaptMax

Does the semi-auto Bren conversion only involve reworking the trigger group or is there other modification to the basic mechanism? If it only involved the trigger mech then it would only be your respect for the law that stopped you fitting a new butt slide group for 'fun' days!

Without going into all the details it is much more than just re-working the trigger. The bolt, firing pin, receiver, trigger, and other parts all require extensive modifications. For "fun days" I just bring out my MP44. ;D CaptMax
