Can anyone help me identify these British mortar parts. They are for the 2", 3" and 4.2" mortars. I can identify a 4.2" mortar tube dust cap and strikers, A 3" mortar lensatic sight, and associated strikers. A side plate from a 2" mortar and metal sight assemble. Everything else is unknown to me. Your comments would be appreciated since I do not have any manuals for these and am not a mortar guy.

Hello The metal plate with 3 holes in looks like part of the tripod. I think its for both the 3" and 4.2" Its looks like the backing plate that the legs bolt through and fix onto the semi circular front plate. The two other bits of metal could be one side of the leg hinge part of the 3" tripod, the bit that you would stamp on to lock the legs apart and to bed it into the ground.Maybe if you ask Tom he could come up with a drawing from a manual. I don't own a mortar but maybe someone lucky enough who does can help you more.

The 3 and 5 quantity items are 'Studs, Striker' for the 4.2.
Nothing else recognisable in the Australian Illustrated Parts List from 1945.
