I am assembling a dial sight from parts and have two lensatic sights that can fit on the top. One is a No. 1 MK 1 which has a triangle (sight picture), the other one is a No.2 MK 1 which has a line in the center (sight picture) for aiming.
Which one is correct for the early dial sights with brass drums and for the slightly later ones dial sights with aluminum drums? Late in the war, many of the MK1 & MK2 sights were retrofitted as MK3 sights, what would they use?
Bit of a technical question but you guys are the experts.
