pleased to inform any interested parties: expect to be putting on Ebay next weekend to clear (but would rather deal direct with collectors who will appreciate them): MG 'D' ring handle cleaning rods with sliding oiler cup/muzzle protectors, broad arrow marked on handle also marked letter H in circle on handle and on protector. Good stored condition in grease, only need cleaning(what can you do wrong to one anyway?) couple left now. 1 only - tin inner container for mg ammo belt, believed vickers. box sound condition with much black finish remaining. lid unopened as far as double ended pull tabs concerned, removed intact all there but rusty and short splits to one end where lips to side begin, very good inside/underside. clearly stamped MB30 1944 at end with wire handle. Just needs sympathetic gentle clean/derust to taste. Need WS19 wire grills; Inns of Court Rgt items. Further details, photos from, offers (dunno what box worth? rods £23.56 inc UK inland p+p) to: iocmorgan@ hotmail.com

Sorry gentlemen (and any ladies into rock & roll machinery) Have ended up putting the tin on Ebay (no comment) as unable to place a fair price on it......at least this way everyone gets a fair crack at it. Hope it goes to someone who'll appreciate it. Could deliver South Wales, M4 corridor, Kent, if anybody here gets it......good luck. (cleaning rod there too).

What's your eBay ID so we can keep an eye on it?
Thanks,
