I have a DWM Maxim 1918 MG 08, this gun is missing the following Right side plate, lock, booster, hose, and steam tank unless there is some thing else I don't know about. the feed pawl is broken like most are, this is a thing of beauty probably 95 % of original bluing is intact, wear along some of the edges, grips are sharp checkered whitish lettering on futzy still intact, red lettering on top cover still filled in, and wait for it all numbers are matching except two small rings on the trunion pins that the cotter pins go thru( not sure if not serialized or a size number, the person that had it prior to me apparently removed the side plate so it has the cams from the right side, all you would need to do is make a right side plate find a lock fix feed pawl ( if your were manufacture) and you would have a easy project) will try to get pics up soon if you wan them faster email me at kevin.twardowski@gmail.com $4500.00 I might be crazy but have never seen one in this nice condition and have Ohio Ord. interested in it for trade for SLR BAR but would rather have the cash, was going to have it built into semi but think it would be a easy project for a manufacture for auto.
