Hi folks
Yesterday for 3 squid I picked a almost minty shipping tube for a 1966 dated Mk 2/2 illuminating round, it had been marked up for a silly amount. £15, in a low end antique shop and the price had steadily drifted down to a reasonable amount. Anyway I already had a £2 carboot spent round to go in it so am now looking for a spare nose cap to cover the gaping void were the parachute flare went?
Does any one have a spare they have picked up, assuming they ain't completely destroyed when blown off, to sell or swap?
Incidentally I'm still looking for a minty webbing muzzle cover for the 2", post war ideally but ill slum it with a WW2 one if I have to. Real not repro I'm afraid.
