Dear All, Have just bought this on ebay as I vaguely remember seeing something like it in connection with the Vickers. However, all my reference books are at home. Can anyone tell me what it actually is?
Ebay.co.uk item no. 300073213122
Many thanks in advance, Richard

I'd also like to know, as I have one in my garage filled with lathe tools. I was once told it was for signals kit.

I have had a look through all my Maxim and Vickers books and can see nothing that looks the same. The Hotchkiss used a similar size leather bag but it had two straps and buckles, not the single strap as shown on Ebay.

I have always been under the impression that they are tool boxes for British war-time vehicles.
