Does anyone have any drawings for the Mountings, Loophole, MG, Mk.I, more commonly known as Turnbull Mounts?
Of particular interest would be details showing the differences between the four removeable Gun Bars 1-4.
No.1: .303 Mk.I and .30 Vickers
No.2: .303 Lewis Mk.I
No.3: .303 Bren Mk.s I and II
No.4: .303 and .30 water cooled Browning
I've been lucky enough to have been surveying a group of three pillboxes with these mounts, one of which has its entire complement still fitted complete with gun bars, in almost full working order.
