Does anyone have any information concerning the MK II Water Bag, or even an authenticated REAL one. There have been a few of these on ebay, but they differ in design and some them just do not look right. I know that the Pattern Room have one but I cannot get up to Leeds to have a look and they sometimes do not reply to inquiries, the photo in GOL does not show enough detail for my needs. I think the base may be about 16" square tapering to a 7" square open top, with around a height of 10". I assume the closing strap to be 1" webbing or canvas held in place with two little loops, one on either side. The carrying strap appears to be the same material as the Lewis Bucket, although possibly fastened differently. it may also have had a canvas spout in one corner. Any help would be marvelous having trolled through hundreds of photo's showing them crumpled in a heap on the ground.

I shall grab mine later when I am at the collection and take a few photos if that would be of help. The one I have came from an established collection and I have no reason to doubt it's authenticity.

Couldn't get to it this evening and I am away for a few days with work now; however, I will try to get it on Friday and get some info to you next weekend.
