Have put up photos of markings I have found on Vickers guns and components. Very 'photo-heavy' pages but I think they are worth it.
Includes some basic serial number analysis.

Added a table at the bottom of the manufacturers markings page of the Second World War manufacturer's codes that I have found on Vickers guns - if anybody has any others then please let me know and I will include them.

Hi guys, I'm new to your site so I ask you to bear with me. I recently puchased what apears to be a 1915 era vickers and would like to buy some accessories but I'm not sure what works. The feed block appears to be up graded to all steel, so would this accept any of the various feed belts? I read your article on the man whose house was raided and was curious how he made out? Sounds like our Clinton years.
