Does any one have any information on Bren's that were converted to 7.62x54 by China or Vietnam around 1962,and i know this is clutching at straws but would any one have a mag for one ?

Hi Pongo do you mean a bog standard AK 47 mag of that period?

No, I don't have one but I thought they just used the standard AK mag?

Hi Tom, The mag for an AK is for 7.62x39,the mag i am on about is for 7.62 x 54 the same round as used for the Mossin Nagant rifle

Sorry, brain not working today...
Thats a new one on me, I knew Chinese did a Mk II clone in 30-06 and the AK mag version but in 7.62 x 54 ?!
Pray do tell more...

being a rimmed round I pressume a 303 or zb39 (8x56r)mag would suffice ?

Hi Kev, 7.62x54 wont fit a Bren mag the rim is too big !
