How many country's in Asia used the Bren? I know of Singapore,Malaysia ,China,Vietnam,Laos and Thailand and Myanmar (Burma)can anyone add any countries to the List ?

The Japs captured enough of them to merit producing their own manual for the Bren and I think complete units were equiped with them and SMLEs.
I supose a fair few of those Indian Nationalist turncoats (JIFS?) would have received them but the fact that the text is in Japenese must mean they mainly went to actual Japenese troops?
Anyone got connections with thw Aussie War Memorial who can make a copy of it?, I believe they have at least one copy.
Was it Siam that got saddled with Vickers Berthiers? pre WWII...

I have seen a lot British made rifles in Thailand (Siam).The Thai Prison Service Corrections Museum in Bangkok has a large selection of British stuff on display that was used at Maha Chai Prison from Martini's through to Enfields,I don't know about machine guns I must ask the curator if he knows of any in storage
